In today’s episode, Niamh Honer from The Civic Theatre joins us to discuss the theatre’s support for artists and hopes for the future; Cian Austin Jesus Kinsella, one-half of comedy group ‘Lords of Strut’ who have a residency at VISUAL Carlow and playwright Ciara Elizabeth Smyth with #HatchandScratch at The MAC discuss adapting in the face of COVID-19; and Aonghus Óg McAnally, artistic director of Rise Productions and creator of #RiseCovidCommissions discusses his self funded program to help artists and his hopes for moving forward. We’ll be focusing on adapting to the current climate, because #artistsalwaysadapt. In our #ArtInIsolation series, we focus in on Actor and Saw Doctors member Rickie O’Neill who is Drumming for Irish Cancer Society, and Roscommon Arts Centre residents Fergoli Theatre Company.
